Dan U for Model Number mah5500bww Serial # A961664dce Our washer was working fine. Tried to wash another load of clothes, got it ready went to hit star and nothing happens. Did diagnostic check on control board and it will not light the led for start button. Does that mean the control board is bad, and if so which one do I need. On schematic it says its number 22 and says its discontinued, is that true or can I use part number ap4027824? Thanks
Answer Dan, The correct control that you would need for your unit is part number WP22004299. The control board may not be the issue. You will want to check the console by doing a keypad check. The information for this should be on the tech sheet located in the control panel of the unit. If the keypad test checks bad then you will need the console part number 22003238. Read More...
