Paul for Model Number MED9700sq0 When I press the start button there is a clicking sound from the control panel but nothing happens. The front panel lights seem to work fine.
Answer Hello Paul. Make sure the belt 661570V is not broke. On the main control board WP8546219 check across pins P1-3 & P1-2. This should read closed for continuity. If so, the door switch is good. If not, replace the door switch. If it is good, you will want to test the thermal fuse WP3392519 and the belt switch 279782. They should read closed for continuity. If both of these are good, and the door switch is good, you will need to replace the main control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
