Jack F Hermosa Beach , CA July 08, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer GGW9200LL2 Broken belt switch Every time I tried to start our dryer, the "Sensing Light" came on, I heard a little "click," and the dryer would not start. According to the very helpful Appliance Parts Pros. videos, I was able to dismantle, diagnose a few components, and discover the broken part. In this case, it was a Broken Belt Switch. I ordered the part, we went on vacation for a week, and when we returned home the part was at our residence. The next day, I installed the part and all is good now. I am nearly 70 years young, and find it more and more difficult to get my body and mind to cooperate with what I demand. Pulled the switch verified the switch was faulty. Ordered a new switch got it in two days. Switch has an additional terminal not found on the original. Duncan G Haslet , TX June 29, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED9200SQ0 Dryer would not spin but power was present and power relay was functioning Troubleshot entire power circuit. Ohms/continuity checked door switch, motor start and run windings, thermal switch and broken belt switch. Even though the drive belt did not break, I found the broken belt switch failed. Meter cked open when should have read continuity/closed. Ordered part from AppliancePartsPros (cheaper than Whirlpool for same part) on a Wednesday night around 9 p.m. and had new part in my hand by 2 p.m. Friday of the same week....20 minutes later, and the dryer is runnin like a champ...Couldn't be happier, and the wife is impressed...BONUS!
