Dennis for Model Number GEW9200LW0 I push the control on button and make what ever selections/ setup I want. When I push the hold to start button I hear a click and the sensing light comes on and the dryer does not start. This is the same for any automatic cycle or manual cycles. Up to this point we have had no trouble with the dryer.
Answer Dennis, Based on your post, the first thing to check is the thermal fuse WP3390719 located on the blower housing. It reacts to heat, and is a "one shot" fuse. If it "opens" the motor will not start and run. Also check for a broken belt Or faulty "belt switch" 279782 If the belt broke, the switch or wires failed, the motor won't start or run either. Also, you'll need to check and make sure the exhaust vent and vent hood are not restricted or clogged with lint. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 15, 2012
