Answer Russell, You'll need to check the thermal fuse WP3390719 located on the blower wheel housing. If the dryer experienced an overheat situation, the fuse would "open" and the motor won't run, but the control and drum lite will operate correctly. You will also want to check and make sure the dryer drive belt is not broken or stretched and the belt switch 279782 hasn't failed, a faulty belt switch or wire can create a similar situation, programs, but won't start/run.
