Eli for Model Number kudt03ftss2 Hi. My Kitchen aid dishwasher is completely dead. No power, no lights. Power from the outlet is ok. There are 2 harness wire connectors plugged into the control board from the top. One has 4 wires & the other has 3 wires. One wire connector in each of the two is burnt. The connector plastic housing (the end of the harness that plugs into the control board) has partially melted. I checked for continuity at the control board prongs and it's ok. So I bought individual wire connectors to replace the connectors on all 7 wires and plugged them back in (this way I don't have to buy the complete wire harness with the plastic housing at the end). Dishwasher is still dead! Any suggestions of what caused the connectors to burn and what to do next?
Answer Hello Eil. Check and see if the thermal fuse W10258275 is bad. If so, it will prevent the unit from working properly. Also, replace the wires sent with the fuse with the new fuse. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 30, 2011
