Joe for Model Number DU1055XTVB0 I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher. It won't run and its Normal, Wash and Cancel lights are flashing. Other lights flashed before and I pulled out and then reconnected the ribbon connector from the control panel. It then worked about 5 or 6 times before the above lights started flashing and won't work. From my reading of other posts (BTW I tried resetting sequence too - didn't work), it seems to me that could be either control panel or control board. I'm leaning towards replacing control board. What do y'all think? In light of the no return policy on installed items - I want to make the best educated guess. Thanks!
Answer Joe, it would be recommended that the user interface WPW10459139 is disconnected from the main control WPW10084142 after turning off the power supply. With the door open, the power supply can be turned back on and the door shut after 5 seconds. If the drain pump turns on, the interface has failed.
