Larry for Model Number DU1055XTVQ0 The dishwasher went dark in the middle of a cycle. There is power to the junction box underneath. I did the Troubleshooting guide tests for won't run or power up. The switch seems OK. I believe I found and tested the bi-metal and it seems OK (it is closed). I disconnected the PC board to check the keypad operation and closed the door. The manual says the drain motor should have turned on but it did not. The manual concludes I should replace the control. Does it mean the PC board? There is a paper sticker on the board that says: P/N W10084142B. Is the PC board the likely problem? What would cause it to go bad?

The PC board is the most likely problem since you checked all other functions. Control boards can fail at any given point in time. Read More...
