Tavia for Model Number KUDS40FVSS3 KitchenAid Dishwasher I need to diagnose is my control panel is fried. My doorswitch is good and the thermal fuse is good. The machine will not turn on. It is new. I live in remote Alaska and need to repair myself.
Answer Tavia, If you have the proper power supply, and the door switches and fuse are "good" you'll have 120 VAC across P2(white) and P8(tan) on the control board, with the door switches bypassed. If thats the case, you'd want to program a diagnostic/reset test and or conduct a test on the keypad ribbon( P1 connector on the control board) to isolate the control board as the issue.
