Bill for Model Number MDE6000AYW Three issues going on and need to know what to buy. First- felt in front and rear is torn and hanging out. Second- Leaving black marks on all the clothes. Third- when dryer on making a thumping noise like a shoe is in there.
Answer Hello Bill, To address the first two issues at the same time, if the seal WP33001807 is worn, the clothes will get caught where the seal shouold be taking up the slack. This is where the black marks are coming from. The clunking is most likely a failed drum roller 12001541. A bad drum roller will also contribute to the gap where the drum seal is located and cause the unit to catch clothes more often. Read More...
