John for Model Number Maytag mdg6000aww The drier squeaks while operating. I think I need to replace the 2 sets of rollers. While it is apart, should I consider replacing anything else e.g belt or idler pulley?
Answer Hello John, there are numerous parts that would cause noise while the dryer is tumbling. Depending on what type of noise, it can be hard to tell without getting in there to see what is wrong. Things to check are the drum support rollers 12001541, the bearing glides 306508, and the drum seals WP33001807. There are usually two of each of these parts and it's recommended that you change both at the same time. Also, you should check the idler pulley WP6-3700340 and belt WP33002535. Hope this helps!
