James for Model Number du940pwkto I checked the thermal fuse its good and the heating element does work so im all good the but what it does is it seams like only a few of the buttons want to work and when i close the door it just sits there and buzzes never turns the water on or nothing and the heating element gets real hot is it the board or the water valve acting up?
Answer Hello James. You need to check and see if the float assembly is stuck in the up position causing the valve not to come on. If there is power to the water valve, but no water enters, and the water is on, replace the water valve W10844024.
