Gary G for Model Number MER6751AAB I do not know what you mean by "high limit". The new unit does not heat at all from a cold range. Is there a fuse related to this? As I said everything else works on the range. Still looking for help or do I have to call a repairman? It seems like it should be a simple fix or am I wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Answer Gary, A "high limit" is an overheat safety device that "opens" and eliminates power to one side of the heater device, so it won't heat. Based on your post, if the only element you're having an issue with is the lower bake element, you will need to check for a broken, damaged,or loose wire to the element, or You'd have a faulty relay on the control assembly W10769079.
