John B for Model Number WTW4800B Whirlpool "POS" washer Have a Whirlpool WTW4800B washer ,bought just over a year ago. Now having function issues with the unit . After it completes a complete wash cycle it stops and unlocks. If you do not open the lid to unload within just a few minutes the washer start refilling and start a completely new wash cycle. It will do this over and over. Tried unplugging it in hopes it would reset the timer/ control board but did not help. Would this be a control board issue or something else? Honesty this washer has been a piece of crap since we purchased and my wife hates it but if it can be fixed for a fair price I will have to repair for now. Belt driven ( walks all over the room if the load is not balanced). Once you select a water level and start it you can't adjust the level. Lid lock is a pain in the butt as you can not open the lid during a cycle to add solution or check on load. Anyway sorry to vent! Just need your professional help and input. Thanks John Blythe
Answer Hello John. It sounds like the board W10581897 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, July 22, 2016
