Cassandra for Model Number MDB6650AWB Our dishwasher has been difficult to open for about a year. Now we are getting no power at all to the dishwasher. When taking apart, it is obvious the handle is broken. Could this alone cause the dishwasher not to power, or is it more likely that we need to replace the door latch assembly with switches also.
Answer Hello Cassandra. You will need to test the door switches on the latch assembly. If they are bad, you will need to replace the door latch assembly WP99002292 and the handle on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
