J R B. January 23, 2013 for Model Number Maytag Jetclean Dishwasher EQ Plus Is there any trick to removing the panel on the inside of the door? I need to access the latch in order to replace the handle. Will I screw up the soap dispensers?
1 Answer JR, No, you shouldn't "screw up" the dispenser. You do want to be careful removing and reinstalling the door panel screws, don't damage the liner. You'll also find it easier, if you carefully disconnect the wires from the dispenser, and propp the liner against the tub opening. Read More...
Michael W. January 06, 2013 for Model Number Maytag 200 Quiet Series Two questions: 1) the outside latch that you pull up on to open the dishwasher door is loose (broken) and does not release the door. Do you think that I need to replace just the latch, or is it likely that the latch assembly (or soemthing else) needs to be repalced at the same time? I'd rather order what I need the first time. 2) the diswasher has been getting increasingly louder over the past year. Is there a resolution to this?
1 Answer Michael, Fortunately there aren't too many issues with the latch assembly itself, and you'll most likely need the handle only. As for the noise level, there are numerous posibilities, You may want to start and make sure the dishwasher fills properly, Low water level decreases the interior pressure in the pump and can make the sound level increase. You'll want to start the dishwasher on a normal wash cycle, allow the dishwasher to fill and wash for three(3) to five(5) minutes, then unlatch the door, remove the lower rack and check the water level in the bottom of the tub. The water should be coverring the lower half of the heating element(at the least), if not there's not enough water in the tub and you'll want to replace the fill valve.Otherwise, the issue would be inside the pump, and you will need to dismantle the pump and check for debris in the impellers or pump housing Read More...

Cassandra January 17, 2012 for Model Number MDB6650AWB OK, We tested the door switches and there is continuity. Is there a way to check to confirm it is the circuit board that is out?
1 Answer Hello Cassandra. Yes, you can test for power coming into the control board. If there is power there and the control board does not work properly, you will need to replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Cassandra January 15, 2012 for Model Number MDB6650AWB Our dishwasher has been difficult to open for about a year. Now we are getting no power at all to the dishwasher. When taking apart, it is obvious the handle is broken. Could this alone cause the dishwasher not to power, or is it more likely that we need to replace the door latch assembly with switches also.
1 Answer Hello Cassandra. You will need to test the door switches on the latch assembly. If they are bad, you will need to replace the door latch assembly WP99002292 and the handle on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Malcolm C. May 18, 2011 for Model Number MDB9150AWB I just sent you a question regarding installation of the Handle, latch. I forgot to include the model number. Here it is. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Malcolm! There is no specific information available to install the door latch handle. Turn off the power to the dishwasher. Gain access to the backside of the control panel. The handle will hook onto the latch assembly. Pay close attention to how you remove the current handle and install in the reverse order.
