Linda for Model Number MEDZ600TK1 Our Maytag Epic Z electric dryer stopped working after a lot of towels/blankets/multiple washes. I'm pretty sure it got too hot. We disconnected the vent and thoroughly cleaned it out all the way. Had the thermal fuse checked, and it was o.k. Replaced the main control board, and now dryer runs, but no heat! Help!
Answer Hello Linda. Check the thermostats and heater in the unit. If all is good, then it may be the board that is bad or the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
