John for Model Number 110.87088601 I’m trying to remove the heating element to see if I need to replace it. I can’t pull out the housing (the muffler like housing that the element is inside of. Seems like I have to pull it out in order to replace the element.
Answer Hello John, thank you for contacting APP, There should be screws securing the upper half of the heater box to the lower half of the heater box that will need to be removed to separate the 2 and access the heating element.
