Jerry N. for Model Number DWU7202AAB My Maytag jetclean dishwasher door makes a very loud popping noise when opened. The door doesn't fall down so it doesn't seem like the springs are bad. What gives?
Answer Jerry, You will want to pull the unit out from the cabinet and check the springs to make sure that they are not rubbing against the cabinet causing the popping noise. Something from the springs would be the most likley cause but also check to make sure that the inner door is not catching on the tub which could be a issue with one of the hinges of the unit.
