Jeff L Hello, I have the Kitchen Aid KSB5WW3 blender and the hard rubber coupling disintegrated when making a smoothie. The rubber piece is off and I can see the little rubber tips (six) that fit into the metal housing. I have been reading about replacing the metal collar too and am wondering why all this business needs doing. But I will attempt this feat of engineering if it is absolutely necessary, any help in deciphering this fix wuld sorely be appreciated.
