Paul M. for Model Number KSB3WH3 It seems like the black coupling is designed to be the part that breaks. Is there any way to make this part last longer? In a way way it seems like it has dried out. Is there an oil or additive that would keep this part from breaking? Also I have looked for and can not find the spanner wrench for this part. Do you carry the wrench?
Answer Hello Paul! the drive coupling for your Kitchenaid blender model KSB3WH3 is part number WP9704230. This part does not use a spanner wrench for installation or removal. We are unaware of any lubricants used on the couplings to help from becoming defective.
