Answer Hi Don. Different noises are clues to different issues. Example if you hear sparking this means either the armature brushes are just bad, but also the armature has now shorted as well. If you are hearing a different speed increase -vs- load issue then the Phaser board may not be giving the correct voltage output. It is part # WPW10325124.
