Jack for Model Number LSQ9110PW0 Washer runs, spins, rinses...but does not drain. When I lift lid the operation stops and when I close clid operation starts again. Took all clothes out, added cold water...still will not drain. Next steps?
Answer Hi Jack. It sounds like the lid switch is ok.Remove the top tub cover and see if there are balled up clothes in between the inner and outer basket. This will stop a spin out. Look under the unit to see in the middle of the floor area if you see rubber and plastic shavings. If so, the motor coupler part # 285753A needs changed. It may have just enough to work on way. If not un clip the motor brackets and dis mount the motor. Put your foot on the motor and see if now it will spin. This will tell you if the timer, wire harness and the motor are all ok. If so you need to change the stuck clutch assy. Part # 285785. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 16, 2012
