David for Model Number 110.28812790 Sears Kenmore washer on the last spin cycle did not spin clothes dry. Made a buzzing sound and would not work. checked to make sure the water hoses were not plugged, these were clear. Nothing plugging water pump. Could it be the pump went bad? or could it be the capacitator motor start? or any other suggestions? Thanks for your time.
Answer David, The issue is most likely a timer issue WP3949210, based on your post. If the washer fills and agitates, there's a 95% chance, the issue is not in the motor components. Since the pump was clear, and was not making noise, the drain pump should be OK.The buzzing noise and no spin issue is most likely due to a faulty contact inside the timer. Read More...
