Bruce for Model Number whirlpool washer Model no. LSQ8000LQ1 THE WASHER DOES NOT ALWAYS SPIN ALL THE WATER OUT OF CLOTHES,THERE IS NOT ANY WATER LEFT IN THE TUB BUT CLOTHES ARE VERY WET SOMETIMES. happens worse with larger loads but has done it with medium or smaller loads.I am thinking the lid switch may being opening up intermittently during spin cycle, but could the drive coupling also be the issue?I am assuming there would be standing water if it were a pump issue? or is it possible motor is not spinning as fast as it used to? thanx
Answer Bruce, The motor drive coupling 285753A could be the issue,if one of the legs is cracked or broken, if the legs are bent, etc. this would create a spin speed issue. But, the more likely issue is the clutch 285785 is warn and slipping under a heavy load. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, November 10, 2012
