Shane D Not draining, I removed the dishwasher and found that the hose was clogged. Replaced hose and started dishwasher and it drained. However we have noticed that sometimes the water is left in the bottom of the dishwasher. What we really noticed is that when I poured coffee ground in the sink it clogged the main drain to the sink and the water would flow back into the dishwasher. What do I need to order to stop this from happing again?
Answer Hello Shane. You will need to check and see if the check valve WP8268375 that is located in the sump is working properly. It should prevent water from coming back into the dishwasher. Also, the drain hose needs to be raised up on the dishwasher to create an air gap on the drain hose line.
