Brian for Model Number KSM150PS0B I got a mixer that was missing the control plate spring and need to know where the one side goes. The hook side goes to the bottom of the control plate I figured, but can't tell how the other side attaches to anything.
Answer Brian, The short preshaped(bent) portion of the spring WP3183680 attaches to the opening on the speed control lever WP9709276.
