Chris Madonia November 16, 2016 for Model Number K5ss Spring for speed control plate broken on lever end, we bent it around lever, mixer works fine . New part looks like it should fit in hole on speed control lever . Mine has no hole ,old part had loop around lever pivot point ,found old piece of spring. My question is will this part fit my mixer or do I have to modify it ? Thanks for your help

Brian August 17, 2012 for Model Number KSM150PS0B I got a mixer that was missing the control plate spring and need to know where the one side goes. The hook side goes to the bottom of the control plate I figured, but can't tell how the other side attaches to anything.
