Answer Rita, inspect the door cables on the dishwasher door- there should be one on each side. Usually when these break it can cause a loud pop and the door will slam down when opened. Also check the mounts and the hinges to ensure they are not broken. If the door balance cable link is broken it will need to be replaced, part number is 8194001. Thanks! Read More...
