Wayne for Model Number RF365PXYN2 My 8" back burner won't heat up..bought it 2 years ago..how do I know whether it's the burner or the switch that needs replacing?
Answer Wayne, it would be recommended that the infinite switch WP3149400 is tested from the yellow wire at H1 to the yellow wire at H2 for 240VAC when the switch is on. If there is proper voltage, the switch would be turned off and the 8" burner WP660533 can be tested for resistance. It should measure 22O and the terminals of the element would need to be inspected for damage. If the element is good, then the receptacle kit 330031 would need to be replaced. Read More...
