Web W. for Model Number LSQ9010LG0 My washer was having a hard time going into the spin cycle. We would have to turn back the timer and rerun the spin cycle usually at least 4-5 times before it would take. Sometimes it would not take at all after many attempts. I assumed this was a lid switch issue (after watching some of your you tube videos) and proceeded to order a new lid switch from your site. After placing the order, I learned how to manually activate the lid switch and watched an entire load from start to finish. I then discovered that the agitator sometimes doesn't work at all, but when it does, it barely moves back and forth (appears to be slippage). It makes a lot of noise like the motor is working, but the agitator is only moving about 2" in each direction back and forth. Please advise as to what part or parts needs to be replaced. Thank you.
Answer Hello Web, You need to note whether the tub is turning while the unit should be agitating. If it is, the issue is the brake W10820043 slipping. If it isn't, the clutch 285785 has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 20, 2012
