Joe for Model Number KUDS30FXSS5 The dishwasher will not fill with water. I replaced the water inlet valve and tried running the cycle again and it still did not have water. Then I noticed a small utensil under the float and it was stuck up. I removed it, thinking I had solved the issue, but after trying a cycle again, it still will not fill with water. What's my next step?
Answer Joe, the float switch WPW10195039 can be tested for continuity as it should have a closed circuit when the float is properly activating it. If there is continuity, the next step would be identifying if there is 120VAC going to the valve when the dishwasher is started. If not, the failure is in the main control W10479761 or there is a broken or loose wire W10871221. If there is 120VAC, there may be a pinched/crimped line, water supply is not turned on, or there may be an issue with the valve WPW10327249 itself. Read More...
