Bob for Model Number 110.86880100 The motor went bad 279827, Replaced with new motor. Dryer still will not start and run. No sound, nothing, Checked the thermal fuse, it is blown, no continuity. Videos I have watched recommend replacing the cycling thermostat and thermostat heater. Is this necessary? I have looked at the push button start switch, It is a clear one, you can see inside of it. When you press it it does not make contact to the other terminal inside.
Answer Hello Bob, You will need to install the thermal fuse WP3392519 and the thermal cutoff 279769. The most important thing to do to prevent multiple failures is to verify the ducting.
