Ken for Model Number REX4635EW1 I have replaced every single electric thermostat, timer, fuse, element, etc. and my dryer still does the same thing. When I set it on the automatic dry, the timer does not move, the heat is low and the dryer will run forever. When I set it on the high heat timed cycle, the heat is low and it does turn off when timer ends. Is there a moisture sensor or something that I am not finding? What could be the problem? Thanks for your help. Ken
Answer Ken, This unit does not have a moisture sensor on it and cycles based on the internal bias thermostat WP3387134 located on the side of the blower housing. If this has been replaced and still doing the same thing then this issue would most likely be caused by the timer but the bias thermostat is the most common cause for this issue. Read More...
