Ken November 10, 2016 for Model Number REX4635EW1 I have replaced every single electric thermostat, timer, fuse, element, etc. and my dryer still does the same thing. When I set it on the automatic dry, the timer does not move, the heat is low and the dryer will run forever. When I set it on the high heat timed cycle, the heat is low and it does turn off when timer ends. Is there a moisture sensor or something that I am not finding? What could be the problem? 1 Answer Ken, This unit does not have a moisture sensor on it and cycles based on the internal bias thermostat WP3387134 located on the side of the blower housing. 1 Answer Hello Ronald. Test for power to the timer motor in that cycle. If there is power there, and the motor does not turn, replace the timer WP3976572. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. 1 Answer Hello Carolyn. You will need to test the thermal fuse WP3392519 and see if it is bad. It should read closed for continuity.
