Hayjoe for Model Number mtw5600tq1 Just put on new timer. Unit keeps filling with water - doesn't stop at load size.
Answer Hello Hayjoe! Sounds like the pressure switch or inlet valve is failing. A good way to verify which part is failing is by doing the following test: Start a cycle and let the washer start to fill with water. Unplug the unit. If the unit continues to run, the inlet valve WP8578343 is at fault. If the unit stops filling with water you will need to check the pressure switch hose running from the switch to the tub to make sure it is not kinked or clogged. If the hose is ok you will need to replace the pressure switch, part number W10339251. Hope this information helps you, thanks! Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 3, 2012
