Frank for Model Number Kenmore 110.2691.2691 Our washer goes through the wash cycle fine, drains fine, but when it reaches the rinse cycle, water comes out to fill tub, but it doesn't fill. It will start to fill, but takes forever. I turned it off and the water drains out. I even added water with a bucket, same thing.
Answer Hello Frank. It sounds like the unit is siphoning out the water in the unit. Check and make sure there is only 6" of drain hose in the drain pipe. Also, make sure the drain pipe is 36" off the floor in height. You will need to check and make sure the drain hose has an air gap going into the drain pipe. If it is air tight, it will siphon.
