Lovell for Model Number wtw5540sq0 will not fill with water .replaced timer and water valve.lidswitch ok water level switch OK .other dials look ok but no way to test.cannot keep buying parts on hope something works.what now? let me add to last question the timer will not start on water fill, it will start and run on spin but will stop when it gets to a water fill position thanks lovell.
Answer Hello Lovell, This sounds like the water level switch W10339251 is not making electrical continuity when it is actuated by a low water level. You will need to get a test meter to check it electrically. You also need to remove the water level switch hose from the switch and blow through t back toward the tub. It should be clear and you will be able to hear the air entering the bottom of the tub. Don not blow back toward the switch as this can cause damage to the switch. Read More...
