Lee for Model Number LAT9605AAE I have a Maytag washer that the water won't fill into the tub. I've replaced the water inlet valve and the water level switch with no luck. I've been told that I may possibly need a new timer as the one shown here. The washer works if I fill the tub manually with water on the wash and spin cycles but stops on the rinse cycle. Answer Lee, your first check needs to be the WP22001682 / WP22001682 lid switch assembly. If a switch fails, or the fuse "blows" this breaks the circuit to the fill valve, and the washer won't fill and agitate, but it will spin and drain.
