Eric Y Marietta , GA May 13, 2016 Appliance: Model SHE45M06UC/50 Easy fix for broken front panel After 8 years of yanking to open our Bosch dishwasher (SHE45M06UC/50 model #) the plastic front panel cover started to break off (one of the tabs on the left side broke off). The shipping was super-fast, so got the part within 2 business days. Just need to remove the lower Torx screws (3 on each side) which hold the lower front panel to the dishwasher to get access to the screws holding on the control panel, swap the buttons and silver handle, and replace. Peter S Lansdale , PA September 06, 2014 Appliance: Model SHE45M06UC/50 Cracked bezel on bosch dishwasher she45m06uc/50 Very simple, more so than expected. Done in less than 15 minutes. This link has photographs showing the 6 screws to remove along the inside vertical edges of the door to get the front panel off, using a T20 driver. http://www.instructables.com/id/Fixing-Bosch-DishWasher. I presume this is designed to be easy because changing the front door and bezel is how you turn a black d/w into a white d/w. Once the panel was off I was able to see the 2 screws holding on the now broken off tabs of the bezel to the front of the now panel-less door. Was also able to remove all the small broken bezel tabs and clean white gunk out (from dried soap vapor?) of the bottom front of the door assembly. Moved the rocker switches from the old bezel to the new one, and moved the metal handle to the new bezel and it snapped in easily. Then jiggled the bezel a bit to snap it into place on the dw door so it was snug and the rocker switches rested against the control panel buttons behind them. Put in the 2 screws that hold the bezel tab to the door, slid the front panel back on, secured the 6 screws holding it to the door, and called victory. Edward Y Louisville , KY March 14, 2016 Front panel cover on bosch dishwasher broke The plastic front control panel facia on the Bosch dish washer also serves as the handle to open the door. After years of use the panel cover seemed to flex out more and more. The other day it finally let go as the retaining tabs broke off. Appliance Parts Pros had the exact piece for a reasonable price and it arrived in three days. The fix is simple. You have to re-use the push buttons and the chrome handle cover. The handle cover piece was maybe the trickiest part of the job since you don't want to break it. I found that by pushing the tabs from the inside it popped out. The job took about thirty minutes to do including trips to get the right screw removal bit (torx type).. Michelle B Phoenix , AZ August 14, 2014 Appliance: Model BOSCH SHE45M06UC/50 The plastic on the old fascia broke and started to come off We found a repair video on the internet, googled our dishwasher part and ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com. The part was at our house in two days. Great service. We were planning to wait for the repair until Sunday morning. But Saturday night our temporary fix of the old part broke again. We got out the new fascia, took the dishwasher panel and old fascia off, transferred the buttons and center grip from old to new, and put the new fascia on. Works like a charm. The silver center grip part was the most difficult. It was snapped into the old panel pretty firmly so I pried it out with a screwdriver. Heard a crack as it came loose and was afraid I'd broken it, but it was fine. Snapped it into the new fascia and we're in good shape now. David B Asheville , NC September 22, 2020 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE45M06UC/50 Panel facia was broken and one button missing Replaced Buttons and facia plate. What I DIDN'T know was that the buttons, though they are just plastic and look identical, are not and they are labelled B through H. If you put them in any other way (and they do go in without a problem) the push buttons don't work right and you can't run the dishwasher. I wish I knew before hand it would have saved a LOT of trouble! Anyhow, once I lined them up and matched them all was good.
