Cliff M Evans , GA March 31, 2022 Appliance: Bosch Dishwasher SHE3AR75UC/07 Leaking dishwasher lower door seal. Bosch ap4359774 (00669221) The symptom was suds and water on the floor at the left front of the dishwasher within the first five minutes of operation. Examination of the seal inside the door showed it was warped and pushed up into the door out of place. Once disassembled we found a tear in the seal, severe warping, and the material was sticky and slimy rather than flexible. I found a video of the disassembly that was very helpful. It is necessary to pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet but my installation had no top and sides to remove which made my repair simpler. I switched off the breaker and disconnected the drain hose and water supply line. But found I did NOT have to do this as I didn't have to pull the dishwasher out all the way to access the door spring. There was adequate slack in the lines to permit as much movement as required. Disassembly of the door is quite straightforward, just follow the instructions of the video - the control panel screws do not have to be removed, just the screws holding the front of the door cover below. The door is heavy and falls easily so something 6-8" tall to set it on is helpful. The video was unclear about how to release the hinges from the hinge pins! The plastic bushings on the hinges slide over the pin from the front. There are plastic tabs that are part of the bushing that is what is pushed upward and/or downward to release the hinge from the pin. I thought the pin slid in and out but it is stationary. Once the hinges are released on both sides the door slides away from the dishwasher. The old seal was nasty - sticky and slimy so having a garbage bag handy when you remove it is a good idea. DO NOT JUST pull it apart without looking at the arrangement of the hinges and the frame of the seal !!! You'll need to remember what it looked like to put the new seal in and the hinges are different left and right so keep that in mind as well. It might take an hour or two to do the job the first time, thirty minutes if you ever have to do it again. The only weird tool requirement is the door panel screws are Torx. George P Chester , NJ August 16, 2015 Leaking dishwasher Bought a lower door seal from AppliancePartsPros.com, followed instructions provided on You tube, and about one and one half hours later fixed my dishwasher. Dishwasher works now, and was happy to not wait for the dishwasher repair guy. We have two dishwashwers and I may now pursue fixing our other Bosch dishwasher. The rep at Applianc Pros was offering me trouble shooting advice on both of our dishwashers which was great. Oliver B Falmouth , ME July 19, 2025 Leak from bottom of door Replaced door seal. Took about 2 hours from start to finish.
