I had no idea what to do about my leaky Bosch dishwasher. I could feel the warped seal and temporarily fix the leak by cleaning it, but the problem would soon return. I was considering replacing the machine. However, I had recently fixed my Kenmore refrigerator by following an AppliancePartsPros video and looked there again for this.
The part itself just snaps into place. However, I can't imagine how badly my repair would have gone without the detailed video. See, you have to pull out the dishwasher, remove some covers that aren't that close to the seal, then take the door off its hinges to get to it. Those are simple steps one by one but not obvious from the parts diagrams or by looking at the machine.
So how I did it was to follow the video. That made it easy. No further explanation needed. It might have taken an hour. Surprisingly, the box the part came in was exactly the box needed in the video instructions.
