This lower limit switch is the replacement lock-position switch used on the appliance door/lock assembly to restore proper lock sensing and control operation. Replaces a worn or failed lower lock switch to help the unit recognize door lock position. What it does

• Detects the lower/locked position of the door latch so the control can allow oven/cook functions
• Stops appliance operation or shows lock-related faults when the door isn't secured
