Then use a flathead screwdriver to release the locking tab and slide the control board housing to the left to detach. Remove the wire covers. Once removed, take note of the orientation of the wire connectors and disconnect them from the old board. Install the new control board by reconnecting the wire connectors to the appropriate terminals. Align the wire covers and pop them into place. Insert the control board housing tabs into the slots of the mounting bracket and slide the housing to the right to secure. Reinstall the control panel by attaching the control pad wire harness to the new board. Align the panel and rethread the mounting screws to secure. This replacement control board is compatible with Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, Sears, and Kenmore brand dishwashers.
