This is a replacement oven control board from Whirlpool. The control board's job is to take user inputs, display information, and monitor/manage the function of the oven. The display shows the user the time and/or temperature, as well as timer-related information. Over time, the oven control board can deteriorate due to the effects of heat, moisture, spills, and more. Signs that the oven control board might be failing or have failed include intermitting problems with the display or oven functions, or lack of functionality. Replacing the control board is the only way to fix the problem. First, unplug the oven. Next, remove the cowling/cover over the control board. Locate the four mounting screws and remove them. Disconnect the wiring from the old board. Install the new board by following these steps in reverse. This is a genuine OEM part. It's sold individually, and will fit Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag ovens.
