This is a GE main board logic kit. The main board is the control board on below-counter models of GE ovens. When the main board malfunctions on these ovens, there are several indicators that manifest. The display area on the front of the oven door may stop working. This is also where the controls are housed. It's possible that these controls will also become unresponsive as time goes on. Use a voltage tester to make sure this is the part that is causing the problems. Unplug the oven from its power source before starting the repair. Slide the oven out from beneath the counter. Remove the back panel of the door, which will allow access to the main board. There are small screws that anchor the main board and assembly in place. Remove these screws and unplug all wires from their harnesses. Repeat these steps in reverse to install the new board kit. This board is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from GE and sold individually. This part is only compatible with GE appliances.

Luckily this is a relatively simple process. To replace the radiant element, make sure to turn the power supply off to the stove by either unplugging it or shutting off the circuit breaker. Once powered off, proceed to locate the screws that attach the radiant element to the stove. Once identified, remove them using a screwdriver and pull up on the radiant element to release it from the stove. Once released, remove the wire harness that is connected to the radiant element and place it into the new part. Place the new radiant element on top of the stove and secure the screws that hold it in place. This OEM replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand electric stoves.
This is a halogen element, which supplies heat to cooktops on ranges. The element uses a bulb to heat food rather than a gas flame or an electric coil. The quick cleaning and ease of use make it a common choice for kitchen stoves. If the element is damaged, there may be signs of wear, food may not fully cook, or electrical use may increase. Before starting, be sure that the stove is unplugged. The surface of the appliance should also be cool to the touch. Work gloves and a set of tools may be needed for the process. Lift the old element up at an angle to detach it from the terminals before aligning the new part with the drip pan. After completing the replacement, return power to the stove. This halogen element is made to be compatible with General Electric cooktops. It's sourced directly from the manufacturer as an authentic OEM replacement part. The part is sold individually.
