This is a choke control which is used on various types of trimmers for yards and gardens. It is made of durable plastic and is responsible for letting fuel go into the engine whenever the motor is running. The choke control comes with a steel ball, metal valve door, and a spring. If the choke control is damaged or stops working, it will need to be replaced. The engine will not receive fuel if the part is malfunctioning or otherwise damaged.This is a fairly easy replacement project that requires no tools other than a screwdriver. First, make sure the trimmer is turned off to prevent any accidents. Place it on a flat surface while making the replacement. The first step is to remove the carburetor from the engine. At that point, the choke control can be removed and the new replacement part can be installed.
