My Kenmore 790.74139310 gas range was taking over 30 minutes to reach 350F. It used to take a little less than 10 minutes. The problem was the ignitor for the lower gas burner. It would glow but not pass sufficient current to increase the gas flow to the lower burner. Once at temperature, there is of course loss of heat when loading the oven with room temperature food. I have used this site before to fix my dishwasher, so I knew to check here first. I searched other's comments to troubleshoot my problem. Ordered the part and it arrived in only a couple of days. We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor.
