One day, while trying to roast chicken on the convection roast setting, my Electrolux oven stopped heating properly. I tried the broil setting and the top electric heating element worked fine. I finally found the right serial number and found the part at Appliance Parts Pros. I was skeptical that they would send the element that had the correct rear brace fixture. when it came 2 days later i opened the box the Part was correct and it took about 15 minutes to replace since there are only two screws. Allow the cooktop to raise by removing the two screws that secures it on the underside of the front edge. Open the oven door to do this. We are very inexperienced appliance repair people. Thus check it out first to see if we can fixit...successs. First checked to be sure it wasn't the actual switch. Removed the bake element and broil element. Tested them with a multi meter. They failed. Ordered new elements. Received them in 2 days. Installed new elements. Oven works great. Entire fix took 10 minutes to remove and test elements, 10 minutes to install the new elements. It was my first time working on an appliance, the instruction videos were great! Read more

Removed old element , found the part on exploded view diagram of th oven. Got on appliance parts pro web site put in model number , made sure picture on line looked the same and ordered. While I was at it ordered a bottom pan for the oven that needed replacing. Received both parts 3 or 4 days later regular shipping. Installed both parts no problem . Thanks appliance parts pros.
