How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP3674290 / 00492431 Ignition Device

I found the correct part easily on appliancepartspros.com, ordered it, had it in two days, followed the video for how to replace it, and I was back up and running in less than a half hour. I had been quoted almost $1k for this job, so I'm pretty happy to have saved all that money! 

Took 5 screws out bottom of oven and removed bottom front panel, Removed front cover by taking out approx 10 screws. All screws are torx same size. Everything is now visible and easy to replace. 

I ordered the part from your company, and with the information on your very helpful video, I was able to replace it. Best of all it was very easy to do and only took 15 minutes! I saved myself over $500 (that's what I paid to have the same part replaced years ago).

Removed bottom panel in the oven and disconnected wires. Unscrewed ignitor and replaced with the new one. Simple to do. 

Replaced the igniter fixed the issue. Two screws and two plugs, really easy. 

I replaced the ignition device. Your recommendation was spot on. 1. Removed the metal pan at the bottom of the oven and tested the old ignitor - it did glow but not hot enough to ignite the gas. Ignitor was faulty. 2. Pulled oven away from wall, turned off the gas line and unplugged the oven. 3. Removed the back panel to access the two wire leads, removed the 2 screws on the ignitor, replaced it, and connected the leads. 4. Plugged oven back in and turned on gas - ran a test - it worked! 5. Vacuumed behind the oven and pushed it back.
